GUHUS BM800 Condenser Microphone Kit

The GUHUS BM800 is a condenser microphone kit designed for podcasting, streaming, gaming, and vocal recording. It includes a boom arm stand, pop filter, shock mount, and mute function for a complete desktop setup. The gold and black finish adds a distinct visual style to any workspace. High-sensitivity capsule captures detailed audio for content creation.

Ideal for solo creators needing an all-in-one

This kit suits streamers, podcasters, and singers who want a plug-and-play solution with included mounting hardware. It is not for users requiring an ultra-low noise floor for critical studio work. Buyers needing direct USB connectivity without an audio interface should look elsewhere. The 20 decibel signal-to-noise ratio limits use in exceptionally quiet environments.

20 decibel signal-to-noise ratio defines the noise

This specification determines how much inherent self-noise the microphone adds to quiet passages. A 20 dB SNR is functional for typical home streaming and voice chat scenarios. It may not meet the demands of professional voice-over booths or acoustic instrument recording. Check this figure against your specific recording environment requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the BM800 kit include the boom arm, pop filter and shock mount, or must I buy them separately?

The kit ships with a boom arm stand, pop filter and shock mount already included, so no extra accessories are required for basic setup.

Should I choose the gold-and-black BM800 or a different colour version?

Only the gold-and-black finish is listed for this model, so that is the sole option available.

What does the 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio mean when I record with this microphone?

A 20 dB SNR indicates a relatively high self-noise floor, so the mic works best for close-up speech or loud sources rather than quiet acoustic capture.
