Purpose and fit

The Gunnar Enigma ENI-00109 is a pair of computer glasses built for people who spend long hours in front of screens and want to reduce digital eye strain. The Onyx frame uses a full-rim nylon polymer construction with a 133 mm width and 58 mm lens width, suited to medium and larger faces.

Bundled accessories

A microfiber pouch and a microfiber cleaning cloth are included, giving you a protective carry case and a safe way to keep the proprietary Liquet lenses free from smudges without scratching the anti-reflective coatings.

Installation and pitfalls

No tools or software are required; you simply wear the glasses and adjust the curved nose rests until the 33 gram frame sits evenly. The 18 mm bridge and 135 mm temples are fixed, so buyers with a narrow nasal bridge or an unusually wide head may find the fit too loose or too tight.

Questions about this item

Will the nylon polymer frame or 3-barrel hinges need periodic tightening or replacement?

The engineering-grade nylon polymer frame and high-tensile steel 3-barrel hinges are designed for dimensional stability and long-term durability, reducing the need for adjustments.

Does the 58 mm liquet lens width limit peripheral coverage during extended screen sessions?

Wide-format 58 mm lenses create an unobstructed panoramic field of view, while the rigid lens mounting area prevents optical degradation from flexing over time.

Do the 33-gram frames with curved nose rests stay comfortable and cool during all-day wear?

At 33 grams with curved nose rests for even weight distribution, the Enigma eliminates pressure points and remains comfortable for sustained daily use.
