Kids' Computer Glasses with 35% Blue Light Filter

Gunnar Rush glasses are built for children and teens who spend hours on screens at school or home. The round nylon frame weighs 28.3 grams and uses a hingeless design for flexibility. Clear lenses block 35% of blue light and 100% of UV light while anti-glare and smudge-resistant coatings keep vision clear. A prescription range of -5 to +5 covers most young wearers.

Lens Protection and Daily Comfort

Clear lens technology filters 35% of high-energy blue light without distorting colour perception for homework or gaming. Anti-glare coating reduces reflections from overhead lights and monitors. Smudge-resistant surfaces stay cleaner through daily handling. The 100% UV block shields eyes during outdoor breaks between sessions.

Upgrade from Basic Screen Protectors

Software filters and clip-on shields only address part of the problem and can shift colour accuracy. These glasses replace them with optical filtering built into the lens material itself. The jump is worth it when a child reports frequent eye strain, headaches or sleep disruption after long device use. Included hard case and cleaning cloth protect the investment.

Questions about this item

Will these Rush glasses fit a child who already wears a 53 mm lens-width frame?

The lens width is 53 mm and the frame width is 130 mm, so they match a current 53 mm pair.

How can I check the lenses are blocking blue light as claimed after I open them?

The clear lenses are rated to block 35% of blue light and 100% of UV; a simple UV torch test will show the UV block working.

Does the box include a case and cloth, or do I need to buy them separately?

A premium youth hard case with zipper and safety clip plus a microfiber cleaning cloth are included.
