GUNOZE YX-01 80W Portable Speaker

The GUNOZE YX-01 is an 80W portable stereo speaker built around dual drivers for jobsite and outdoor use. It runs on Makita 18V lithium batteries such as the BL1860, BL1850, BL1840, BL1830 and BL1815. Batteries and charger are not included. Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB port handle audio sources.

Suits Makita 18V owners needing cordless sound

This unit suits anyone who already owns compatible Makita 18V packs and wants loud, battery-powered audio on site, at camp or at home. It will not work with other battery brands or voltages. Buyers without Makita 18V batteries must purchase them separately before the speaker can operate.

80W output from dual speakers

The defining figure is the 80W total output driving two speakers for stereo playback. This power level determines whether the volume and bass response meet the needs of a noisy jobsite or an open-air gathering.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the GUNOZE YX-01 so I can check if it fits my toolbox?

The speaker measures 6.5 in x 10.8 in x 8.46 in and weighs 3.74 lb, making it compact enough for most jobsite storage.

How do I power the speaker using my Makita 18V battery, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Slide a compatible Makita 18V lithium battery such as the BL1860, BL1850, BL1840, BL1830 or BL1815 into the dock; the step people miss is ensuring the battery clicks fully into place for a solid connection.

Which parts of the YX-01 will need replacement over time, and what should I keep on hand?

The unit runs on Makita 18V batteries, so plan to replace those cells when runtime drops; the speaker itself has no user-serviceable parts.
