Everyday file storage for students and teams

This four-pack of Halasal HGM USB 2.0 flash drives provides 8 GB on each stick, giving multiple users a simple way to move documents, presentations and audio files between computers. The mixed colours let you assign a drive to each person or project without labels.

Replaces single drives that get lost or mixed up

When a classroom or office hands out individual drives they often disappear or get confused; the colour-coded set solves that by keeping four distinct units together. The jump is worth it whenever you need several low-cost drives at once rather than buying them one at a time.

Check that your ports accept USB 2.0 Type

The drives use the standard rectangular Type A plug and operate at USB 2.0 speeds of up to 18 MB/s read and 8 MB/s write, so verify your devices have compatible ports. No extra software or drivers are required for the supported Windows and Mac systems.

Questions about this item

Does the Type A connector fit directly into a standard USB port without an adapter?

Yes, the Type A connector plugs straight into any standard USB-A port on computers or hubs with no adapter required.

Is there a cap or slider to protect the connector during insertion, and how do you avoid bending the pins?

The drive has no moving cover; align the metal contacts with the port, push straight in until it seats, and never force it at an angle.

If a drive stops being recognised, what part typically fails and can it be replaced?

The internal flash memory or controller fails; the sealed unit has no user-replaceable parts, so the whole drive must be replaced.
