Hall Research U22-160 USB 2.0 extender kit 160 ft

USB 2.0 extension over Cat5e/6

The Hall Research U22-160 extends a host PC USB 2.0 port up to 160 ft (50 m) over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Data rates reach 480 Mb/s. The local unit draws power from the host and delivers it to the remote unit through the same cable. A power supply is included for devices that need extra current.

Two-port remote hub for multiple peripherals

The remote end integrates a two-port hub so keyboards, mice, webcams, printers or disk drives can be connected simultaneously. It suits industrial or commercial installs where several USB devices must sit far from the host. Buyers who need more than two downstream ports or who require USB 3.0 speeds should consider other solutions.

Maximum reach of 160 ft over a single UTP cable

The extender achieves a 160 ft (50 m) link using one Cat5e/6 run without additional repeaters. This distance limit is the key specification that determines whether the kit fits the installation.
