Hamilton Beach 1.7L Glass Kettle

The Hamilton Beach 40864 is a 1.7 litre electric kettle with a clear borosilicate glass body and a 1500 watt heating element. It suits anyone who wants fast boiling water for tea, French press coffee or instant meals without using a microwave or stove top.

Check power outlet and counter space

Ensure you have a standard electrical outlet for the corded base and enough flat surface for the kettle footprint of 6.83 inches wide by 9.88 inches high. The cordless serving design lets you lift the glass jug away from the base, so confirm the base can stay plugged in while you pour at the table.

Ideal for quick hot drinks.

This model suits households that need simple on/off boiling with automatic shut off and boil dry protection. Buyers who want precise temperature control for specialty teas or a keep warm function should look at a different kettle.
