Personal on-ear headphones for education

The Hamilton Buhl HA2 is a lightweight on-ear stereo headphone built for classroom and testing use. Its 30mm drivers deliver a 50Hz-16KHz frequency response at 32 ohms impedance and 90dB sensitivity. The grey finish and compact 2x5.5x6.5in frame suit daily student handling.

Dura-Cord and anti-lice bag included

A 5ft Dura-Cord with 3.5mm 120° thin-barrel plug resists chewing, kinking and knotting thanks to PVC jacketing and braided nylon. Replaceable foam cushions extend service life, while the supplied moisture-resistant storage bag kills lice within 24-48 hours and offers a write-on surface for identification.

Suits schools needing durable shared headsets

The chew-resistant cord, replaceable pads and anti-lice bag address hygiene and longevity in multi-user environments. Buyers who want wireless freedom, active noise cancellation or higher-fidelity audio for music production should look at other categories.

Questions about this item

How often will the foam cushions need replacing?

The foam cushions are replaceable; swap them when they wear or for hygiene between users.

What limits continuous classroom use first?

The 5‑foot Dura‑Cord sets the reach; the 120° thin‑barrel 3.5 mm plug fits most device jacks without strain.

Do they get hot or noisy during all‑day lessons?

Passive on‑ear design adds no fan noise or heat; the 32 ohm, 90 dB drivers run cool from any 3.5 mm source.
