Classroom-ready headset

The Hamilton Buhl SCG-AMV Deluxe headset is a new over-ear model with a gooseneck microphone and in-line volume control. It uses a 40 mm driver with a 50 Hz to 20 KHz frequency response and 32 ohm impedance. A chew-resistant, PVC-sleeved, braided cord and padded adjustable headband are built for daily use. Replaceable, washable leatherette ear cushions and a heavy-duty, write-on, moisture-resistant storage bag complete the package.

Suits shared learning environments

This headset fits schools, libraries and testing centres that need durable, hygienic audio gear for tablets, Chromebooks and smartphones. The light blue colour aids quick identification and the anti-lice bag helps limit cross-contamination. Buyers who need wireless freedom, active noise cancellation or a detachable boom microphone should look at other categories.

TRRS connector decides fit

The single 1/8 inch TRRS plug carries both stereo output and microphone input on one connection. Verify that the target device has a matching combined audio jack before purchase. Separate headphone and microphone ports will require an adapter not included in the box.
