Letter Tracing Sensory Pad

The hand2mind 96240 Letter Tracing Sensory Pad is a tactile writing tool designed for children ages three and up. It builds fine motor strength and early handwriting confidence through sensory play. The prefilled gel surface stays sealed for a mess free experience at home or in the classroom. An attached child friendly stylus supports proper pencil grip development.

16 double sided activity cards

The set includes sixteen double sided activity cards that guide uppercase and lowercase letter practice. Cards store inside the pad for easy organization during centers, small groups, or travel. Reusable cards allow repeated tracing sessions without additional supplies. The Getting Started Guide helps educators and parents structure independent skill building activities.

22.6 cm x 5.1 cm x 18 cm

The pad measures 22.6 cm by 5.1 cm by 18 cm and weighs .73 pounds. Its compact plastic construction fits on desks, tables, or lap trays for flexible positioning. The sealed gel surface eliminates loose parts and cleanup time. Buyers needing a larger writing area or dry erase functionality should consider alternative formats.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 double-sided activity cards work with a standard clipboard my child already uses?

The cards are designed to store inside the 22.6 cm x 18 cm pad and are used with the attached stylus on the gel surface; they are not sized for a separate clipboard.

How can I confirm the gel surface is responding correctly when my child traces letters?

The sealed gel displaces visibly under the attached stylus, leaving a clear trace that fades as the gel settles back, so you see each stroke form and disappear in real time.

Does the package include everything needed to start, or do I need to buy a stylus or cards separately?

The set contains one sensory pad with attached stylus, 16 double-sided activity cards, and a Getting Started Guide; no additional items are required.
