What this product is

Lock's Quest is a downloadable PC game published by Handy Games and developed by Digital Continue. It is a 2D action RPG and tower defence hybrid originally released on Nintendo DS in 2008 and remade for Steam in 2017. The product delivers an online Steam code for activation on a Windows 7 or newer system with 2 GB RAM and a DirectX 11 graphics card supporting feature level 9.3.

What the bundle changes

The purchase provides a single Steam activation code; no physical media or additional software are included. The code is region-locked and cannot be activated in a long list of countries including Russia, China, Brazil, India and many others. A Steam account and internet connection are required to download and play the title.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This suits players who enjoy story-driven tower defence mixed with real-time combat and want the remastered version with updated visuals, soundtrack and gamepad support. Buyers in blocked regions cannot activate the code. Anyone without a Steam account or a PC meeting the minimum DirectX 11 requirement should not purchase this download.

Questions about this item

Does the download code expire or need renewal after I activate it on Steam?

The Steam code is a one-time activation; once redeemed the game stays in your library with no further codes or subscriptions required.

My PC only meets the minimum 2.0 GHz processor and DX11 feature level 9.3 graphics — will extended play hit a performance wall?

At minimum specs the game runs, but long sessions on large maps with many turrets can push CPU and GPU past the baseline, causing frame-rate drops.

How much heat or fan noise should I expect when running Lock's Quest all day on a laptop?

The 2D engine is light; sustained play typically keeps laptop fans at low speed and surface temperatures only slightly above idle.
