Wireless Speaker for Dolby Atmos Music

The Harman Kardon Enchant Wireless Speaker is a compact audio system designed for listeners who want immersive 3D spatial sound from a single unit. It uses up-firing and angled side drivers to create height effects and room-filling audio. Automatic self-calibration adapts the output to the speaker's placement anywhere in the room. It suits users who prioritise a minimal footprint without sacrificing a wide soundstage.

Build Quality and Connectivity for Daily Use

The enclosure features a sleek, minimalist design crafted in part with recycled materials, blending into various interior styles. Wireless streaming is handled through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect, allowing direct playback from multiple sources without extra hardware. No physical audio inputs are described, so wired connections to turntables or TVs are not supported. The all-wireless approach simplifies placement but limits integration with legacy analogue equipment.

Dolby Atmos Music with Up-Firing Drivers

The defining specification is Dolby Atmos Music playback via up-firing drivers that radiate height effects for a 3D spatial sound experience. This single feature determines whether the speaker matches the buyer's need for object-based audio from a compact, self-calibrating unit. Buyers who require wired inputs, multi-room grouping with proprietary ecosystems, or portable battery operation will not find those capabilities here.

Questions about this item

Does the speaker use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for Dolby Atmos streaming, and what limits the resolution?

Dolby Atmos Music streams over Wi-Fi via AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, or Spotify Connect; Bluetooth is also available but Atmos requires a Wi-Fi connection.

What surface clearance does the up-firing driver design need for proper height effects?

The angled side and up-firing drivers need open space above the unit; avoid shelves with low overhangs so height channels can reflect off the ceiling.

How does the automatic room calibration run, and what step do users often skip?

Calibration starts automatically on first Wi-Fi setup through the Harman Kardon app; skipping the app configuration leaves the speaker in default mode without room tuning.
