Harris KH1009 Single-Stage Regulator
The Harris KH1009 is a single-stage gas regulator designed for argon, helium and nitrogen supply. It delivers a maximum outlet pressure of 125 psig through a male 1/4 inch NPT outlet connection. The brass body features a chrome-plated finish and uses a neoprene diaphragm with a knob control.
Suited for specialty gas cylinders
This regulator fits cylinders using a male 0.965-14 NGO inlet connection. It is not suitable for gases outside the listed argon, helium and nitrogen compatibility. Buyers who need multi-stage pressure stability or a different outlet pressure range should look at other models.
Verify your cylinder uses CGA 580
Confirm the cylinder valve matches the male inlet connection size and thread type before ordering. Ensure your downstream system accepts a male 1/4 inch NPT outlet at up to 125 psig. Check local regulations regarding the Proposition 65 warnings for brass components.

Questions about this item
Do I need a gas cylinder with a CGA 580 fitting to use this regulator?
Yes, the regulator has a male CGA 580 inlet connection sized 0.965 in.-14 that threads directly onto a compatible argon, helium or nitrogen cylinder.
Will the 1/4 in. male NPT outlet connect to my existing welding hose?
The outlet is a 1/4 in. male NPT thread; you will need a matching female NPT fitting or adapter on your hose to make a gas-tight seal.
How can I confirm the regulator is delivering the correct pressure after installation?
Open the cylinder valve slowly, then watch the outlet gauge — it should stabilise at or below the 125 psig maximum rated outlet pressure for the flow you set.
