Hasee T8 Pro Gaming Laptop

The Hasee T8 Pro is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Home in a Mecha Grey chassis. The 240Hz QHD+ IPS display covers 100% sRGB at 500 nits brightness.

Suited For And Alternatives

This machine suits users who want high frame rates at 2.5K resolution and need 24 cores for heavy multitasking or content creation. The 175W GPU power target and direct GPU communication tech support sustained performance. Buyers who prioritise longer unplugged runtime or a lighter device should look elsewhere, as battery life is rated up to 5 hours and weight is 6 lbs.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR7 memory running at 175W MGP. This graphics configuration determines whether the laptop delivers the ray-tracing throughput and DLSS 4 feature set required for the target games and creative workloads.

Questions about this item

Does the 240 Hz 2.5K display cap the frame rate I can see from the RTX 5080?

The panel runs at 240 Hz, so it will show up to 240 frames per second; any higher GPU output is not visible on this screen.

What are the exact chassis dimensions I need to clear for this 16 inch laptop?

The body measures 14.1 inches wide, 10.5 inches deep and 1.2 inches high; allow that footprint plus cable clearance at the rear.

How do I add a second M.2 drive and which slot should I use first?

Open the base cover, insert the new 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD into the empty M.2 slot, secure it with the screw, then initialise the drive in Windows.
