Core specification

The laptop pairs an Intel Core i7-14700HX with 20 cores and 28 threads with a GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU carrying 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The CPU reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 5.5 GHz and includes 33 MB of Intel Smart Cache. System memory is 16 GB of DDR5 running at 5600 MHz, while storage is provided by a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. The 16-inch IPS panel delivers 2560 x 1600 resolution at 180 Hz with 100% sRGB coverage and 500 nits brightness.

Who this suits

Creators and competitive gamers who need high core counts for multithreaded workloads and a modern GPU with GDDR7 video memory will benefit from the 20-core processor and 180 Hz QHD display. The three-zone RGB keyboard and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity support streaming and peripheral-heavy setups. Buyers who require more than 16 GB of RAM out of the box or a larger primary SSD should look at configurations with higher memory or additional storage slots.

Deciding factor

The single specification that determines fit is the GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory operating at a 115 W TGP; if your workload demands more video memory or a higher power envelope, this model will not meet that requirement.
