PVC inline check valve for pool plumbing

This 3/8" FNPT PVC check valve installs vertically in pool and spa circulation lines to prevent backflow when the pump stops. The true-union body allows quick removal for cleaning or winterising without cutting pipe. Viton seals and seat resist chlorine and common pool chemicals across the rated temperature range.

Rated flow and pressure headroom

The valve passes up to 4 gpm with a low 3 psi cracking pressure, so it opens easily on typical residential filter pumps. Maximum water pressure is 150 psi at 70 °F, giving margin above normal operating pressures. It is not rated for steam service and the minimum fluid temperature is 40 °F.

True-union build and vertical mounting

The inline true-union design uses FNPT threads on both ends for direct connection to 3/8" female fittings. Vertical orientation is required for the internal mechanism to seat correctly by gravity. PVC body and Viton seals handle continuous exposure to treated water up to 140 °F without corrosion or seal degradation.
