Converts Wii analogue output to HDMI at 720p or 1080p with a built-in 1 m male-to-male cable and USB power adapter
The HDSUNWSTD 12222 adapter connects a Wii or Wii U console directly to an HDMI display using a fixed one metre cable with male connectors on both ends. It outputs video and audio in full digital format and supports all Wii display modes including NTSC 480i and PAL 576i. A USB power adapter is included in the package for operation.
No drivers or software configuration are required; simply connect the Wii plug to the console and the HDMI plug to the display then select the matching HDMI input on the TV. A switch button on the unit toggles between 720p and 1080p output resolutions. If a blue screen or no signal appears the supplier lists four remedies starting with unplugging the power adapter and HDMI cable then reconnecting them and turning the TV on after the console.
The device transfers the original video signal without improving its native quality and does not support 4K or 3D formats. It is designed solely for converting Wii output to HDMI and weighs 0.041 kilograms with a cable length of 1 metre (39.3 inch) allowing a tolerance of 0.01 to 0.03 metre. Buyers who want enhanced upscaling or 4K support should look elsewhere.

After plugging the male Wii connector into the console and the male HDMI plug into the TV, select the matching HDMI input on the television, use the switch button to choose 720p or 1080p output, and confirm that both video and audio appear without a blue-screen error.
The package contains one Wii to HDMI converter with integrated male-to-male connectors and one USB power adapter; no additional HDMI or Wii cables are required because the converter itself provides both connection ends.
Use the switch button to set 720p or 1080p to match your TV's native resolution; the adapter supports all Wii display modes including NTSC 480i and PAL 576i but does not support 480p on Wii U.
