What this smart lock does

The HEANTLE smart door lock in silver adds keyless entry to a front door using WiFi, Bluetooth, fingerprint, passcode or a physical key. A free WiFi gateway is included so the lock can be managed from anywhere through the Smart Life app. It suits homeowners, rental hosts and Airbnb operators who need flexible access control without changing cylinders.

Build and daily connectivity

The deadbolt connects by WiFi and Bluetooth to the app, and also works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice commands. An anti-peep touch keypad lets users enter random digits before or after the real code. A USB-C port provides emergency power if the four AA batteries run flat, and the app sends a low-battery alert when power drops below 20 percent.

Speed, noise and battery life

Fingerprint recognition unlocks in 0.3 seconds, so there is no noticeable wait at the door. Auto-lock can be set from 5 to 900 seconds or triggered instantly by holding the hash key for two seconds. Fresh batteries typically last up to one year, and the motorised bolt runs quietly during normal locking and unlocking cycles.
