Smart door lock with built-in Wi-Fi

The DNBeffulgent TE012W is a Wi-Fi deadbolt that connects directly to a 2.4 GHz network without a hub. It is aimed at households and rental-property managers who want remote access and voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant. The lock mounts on standard bore holes and carries an IP55 rating for exterior use.

20 fingerprints and 100 passcodes

Up to 20 fingerprints and 100 unique codes can be stored, giving ample headroom for families, cleaners or short-term guests. Access is managed in the KK Home App, where permissions and activity logs are protected by AES-128 encryption. The lock does not support hub-based protocols, so users who need Zigbee or Z-Wave integration must look elsewhere.

Fits standard doors and runs on eight AA cells

The unit measures 5.12 by 2.95 by 1.3 inches and weighs .921 kilograms, fitting typical front-door preparations. Eight AA batteries power the mechanism and the Wi-Fi radio, with low-battery alerts sent to the app. Silent and Away modes are selectable in software, and a backlit keypad aids entry in darkness. No wiring or separate bridge is required.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.12 in x 2.95 in dimensions fit my existing standard bore hole?

The lock is built for standard bore sizes, so the 5.12 in length and 2.95 in width align with typical front-door preparations.

How do I confirm the lock is operating correctly after installation?

Test all five unlock methods — app, fingerprint, passcode, backup keys, and voice — then check the KK Home App for activity logs and low-battery alerts.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the lock body, two backup keys, and mounting hardware; you need to supply 8 AA batteries for power.
