Talon Trax 13-Inch PVC Boots

These 13-inch plain-toe boots are built with a PVC upper, midsole and shank for waterproof protection in wet or muddy conditions. The tractor-lug outsole provides slip-resistant traction on uneven ground. They come in unisex size 9 with an E width and are sold as a single pair.

Workers needing mid-calf waterproof footwear

The plain-toe design omits a metatarsal guard, so these boots do not meet impact-protection requirements for heavy-object hazards. They are also uninsulated, making them unsuitable for cold-storage or winter outdoor work. Buyers who need safety toes or thermal lining should look at a different specification.

13-inch height with slip-resistant lug sole

The boot height reaches 13 inches, covering the lower calf for splash and mud defence. The outsole uses a tractor-lug pattern moulded from PVC to grip loose soil, wet concrete and oily surfaces. This combination of height and lug geometry is the deciding factor for drainage, trenching or wash-down tasks.

Questions about this item

Will the 13-inch shaft clear my lower calf without binding?

The boot height is 13 inches, measured from the heel to the top of the shaft on a size 9 pair.

Do I need to trim the PVC midsole or shank to break them in?

No trimming is required; the PVC midsole and shank are moulded to shape and should be worn as supplied.

When should I replace the pair once the tractor-lug outsole wears smooth?

Replace the boots when the lug pattern on the outsole is worn down enough to reduce slip resistance on wet or muddy surfaces.
