Heartland Talon Trax 13" PVC Boots

These rubber boots reach a 13-inch height with a plain toe and slip-resistant tractor lug outsole. They are built from PVC across the upper, midsole, shank and outsole. The unisex design fits a size 12 foot in an E width. Waterproof construction keeps feet dry in wet conditions.

Sustained wet and muddy conditions

The PVC shell resists water penetration during long periods of standing or walking in saturated ground. Slip-resistant lugs maintain traction on slick surfaces without clogging. The midsole and shank are also PVC, so the structure does not soften or degrade when exposed to moisture for extended shifts.

Check fit and workplace requirements

Verify that a size 12 E-width boot matches the wearer's foot measurements before ordering. Confirm that a plain toe without a metatarsal guard satisfies site safety standards. The 13-inch shaft height should suit the required leg coverage for the intended tasks.

Questions about this item

How much heat builds up inside the PVC upper and midsole when the boots are worn all day?

The PVC upper and midsole do not breathe, so heat and moisture can accumulate during extended wear.

Do I need to buy separate socks or liners to make the uninsulated, size 12, width E fit work?

Yes, because the boots are uninsulated and only come in a single width E, most wearers add their own socks or liners for comfort and warmth.

Will the 13-inch tractor-lug outsole and PVC shank feel different when I switch from my old leather work boots?

The taller 13-inch height, rigid PVC shank and aggressive tractor-lug pattern change ankle support and ground feel compared to lower, more flexible leather boots.
