16-Piece German Knife Set

This 16-piece German knife set provides a complete cutlery collection for everyday kitchen tasks. Forged high-carbon stainless steel blades are hand-polished for lasting sharpness. Polypropylene handles are shaped for comfort and control during extended prep work. The set arrives in a knife block that keeps blades protected and organised.

Home cooks seeking one complete set

The set suits cooks who want every essential blade in a single purchase without buying pieces separately. It is not for kitchens that require specialised boning, filleting or cleaver knives beyond the included selection. Buyers who prefer dishwasher-safe cutlery should look elsewhere because hand washing is recommended. Professional chefs needing custom blade profiles may find the fixed assortment limiting.

Counter-top storage with forged blades

The knife block measures 11.9888 L x 14.097 W x 35.6108 H centimetres and weighs .921 kilograms, fitting standard worktop space. Forged construction gives each blade strength for chopping, slicing and bread work without flex. Polypropylene handles resist moisture and stay secure when wet. Hand washing and immediate drying preserve the edge and finish for long-term use.

Questions about this item

What size countertop area does the 11.9888 L x 14.097 W cm block footprint need?

The knife block occupies a rectangle of 11.9888 cm by 14.097 cm, so allow at least that much clear counter space plus room to lift knives out.

Can the 16-piece set's polypropylene handles withstand the same hot-water wash as my older riveted wooden-handle knives?

No. The set is not dishwasher safe; hand-wash the polypropylene handles with warm soapy water and dry immediately to avoid damage.

How do I verify the 7.5" bread knife and 7.5" slicing knife are cutting cleanly after first use?

Slice a crusty loaf and a ripe tomato; both knives should glide through without tearing the crust or crushing the flesh.
