Micro OTG adapter for Android tablets
This Hetai Tech adapter adds USB host capability to tablets and phones with a Micro USB port and OTG support. It provides one Micro USB female port and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports for connecting peripherals such as mice, keyboards or flash drives. The device is lightweight and portable for mobile use.
Sustained use with power and data switching
A physical slide switch selects between two exclusive modes. In the OTG position the hub enables data transfer for two connected USB devices simultaneously, but the Micro USB female port cannot charge the host tablet. In the Charge position the female port accepts power to charge the tablet, while the OTG data function is disabled.
USB 2.0 bandwidth and device limits
The hub operates at USB 2.0 speeds, so total throughput is shared across the two Type-A ports when both are active. It supports flash drives, card readers, mice, keyboards and game controllers, but cannot power mechanical hard drives. The Micro USB female port supplies power to the hub itself only, not to the connected host device.

Questions about this item
Will the adapter get warm or draw much power when I leave a mouse and keyboard plugged in all day?
The adapter is a passive USB 2.0 hub with no active electronics, so it adds negligible heat and draws only the tiny current the connected peripherals require.
My tablet has a Micro USB port — do I need any extra cable or driver for this adapter to work?
Plug the single Micro USB male end directly into the tablet; the adapter needs no extra cable and works driver-free on any Android device that supports USB OTG.
Can I still use my older USB 2.0 flash drives and card readers with this adapter?
Yes, both USB 2.0 female ports accept legacy flash drives and card readers simultaneously, while the Micro USB female port is reserved for charging the hub itself.
