Right-angle PCIe 16x riser for tight cases

This adapter reroutes a full-length PCI Express 16x slot through a 90 degree turn so the card sits parallel to the motherboard. It fits 1U and 2U server chassis where vertical clearance prevents standard installation. The male-to-female layout preserves the electrical pin-out without active components.

Signal path stays passive under continuous load

Because the riser carries the 16 lane connection through a simple trace layout, sustained throughput depends on the host slot and card quality rather than the adapter itself. No onboard regulation means no added heat during long compute or storage workloads. Builders who need active signal conditioning or longer reach should choose a different solution.

Questions about this item

Does the 90 degree angle add any extra heat or power draw when the riser runs continuously?

The riser is a passive adapter with no active components, so it adds no measurable heat or power draw during all-day operation.

What motherboard slot and graphics card must I already have for this 16x riser to work?

You need a motherboard with a PCI Express x16 slot and a graphics card that uses a standard x16 edge connector.
