PCIe IEEE 1394 Adapter for Legacy FireWire Devices

This PCIe card adds three IEEE 1394 ports to a desktop computer running Windows 10. It includes a low-profile bracket and a cable with two 6-pin and one 4-pin connector for different FireWire devices. The card suits users who need to connect older camcorders, audio interfaces or external drives that still rely on the 1394 interface.

Replaces Missing Onboard FireWire Ports on Modern

Most current boards no longer include IEEE 1394 headers, so this adapter restores that connectivity without using a USB bridge. The jump is worth it when a workflow depends on native FireWire bandwidth and device control rather than USB conversion. It does not serve builds that require USB serial ports or additional internal headers.
