8-in-1 Card Reader for 5.25" Bays
The Hetai Tech STW-3061 installs into a standard 5.25" drive bay to provide front-panel access to six card slots. It supports CF, XD, MS, M2, TF and SD formats alongside a single USB 3.0 port. This suits desktop builders who want quick media transfers without reaching rear ports.
USB 3.0 Interface Limits
The front USB 3.0 connection operates at up to 5Gb/s, roughly ten times the throughput of USB 2.0. Actual transfer rates depend on the card media used and the host controller. The reader does not add internal bandwidth beyond what the motherboard header provides.
Check Bay and Header Availability
Verify your chassis has a free 5.25" bay and that your motherboard offers an internal USB 3.0 header for the front port. The unit occupies one full bay and requires that header for the high-speed link. Systems lacking either cannot use this reader.
