Dual-Band Two-Way Radio

The Hetai Tech UV-3R operates on VHF and UHF bands for local amateur communication. It includes an integrated LED flashlight and FM broadcast reception. The kit supplies two portable transceivers ready for immediate use.

3-Watt Output Power

The transmitter delivers up to three watts on high power and can be switched to a lower setting. This output level determines the practical talking distance in typical outdoor conditions. The fixed antenna presents a 50-ohm impedance match.

99 Channels With Emergency Slot

Ninety-nine programmable channels plus a dedicated emergency channel provide ample room for group coordination. The 1200mAh battery supports roughly ten hours of mixed operation before recharge. Extreme cold below minus thirty degrees Celsius will reduce available runtime.

Questions about this item

How far can I expect the 3-watt output to reach in typical outdoor conditions?

The radio delivers 2 watts on high power and 0.5 watts on low power, with a 50-ohm antenna impedance; actual range depends on terrain, obstacles and frequency band used.

What does the 136-174 and 400-470 MHz dual-band coverage mean for everyday use?

It lets you transmit and receive on VHF and UHF amateur bands, switch between 25 kHz and 12.5 kHz channel spacing, and monitor two frequencies simultaneously with dual-standby.

Will the 47 by 81 by 23 mm body fit in a standard shirt pocket or belt pouch?

At roughly 130 g and those dimensions, the unit is small enough for most shirt pockets or compact belt pouches, and the integrated LED flashlight adds no extra bulk.
