HEYSONG Bubble B18L portable speaker

The HEYSONG Bubble B18L is a compact Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use and wet environments. Its IPX7 rating means it can be submerged up to one metre for 30 minutes. The integrated carabiner hook lets you clip it to a pack, kayak or shower caddy. It suits anyone who wants music by the pool, at the beach or in the bathroom without worrying about splashes or brief immersion.

Bluetooth range and battery limits

The speaker connects wirelessly up to 66 feet from the source device, so the phone or tablet must stay within that distance for a stable link. Playback lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge, after which the unit needs recharging via the supplied charger. Stereo pairing requires a second identical speaker, doubling the hardware cost for wider sound. There is no wired audio input, so non-Bluetooth devices cannot be connected directly.

Simple setup with a few caveats

Pairing is handled by onboard buttons; most phones connect in seconds without an app. The floating design keeps the speaker upright if dropped in water, but the 4‑inch driver and 3.7 Wh capacity limit maximum volume and bass depth. The LED light mode cannot be disabled via a dedicated switch, so it stays on during playback unless cycled through the button menu. The 231‑gram weight makes it easy to carry, yet the 10.5 × 2.0 × 11.0 in footprint may not fit narrow cup holders.

Questions about this item

How do I pick between the available colour options for the Bubble B18L?

The Bubble B18L comes in several vibrant colours; choose the one that matches your style since every colour shares the same IPX7 waterproofing, 12 hour battery and 66 foot Bluetooth range.

What does the 12 hour battery life mean for a full day at the beach?

A single charge gives up to 12 hours of playback, enough for a full day of music at the beach or pool without needing to recharge.

What does the 66 foot Bluetooth range actually deliver indoors?

The speaker maintains a stable connection up to 66 feet in open space; walls and obstacles will reduce the practical range indoors.
