HEYSONG REVERB BT138P portable speaker Bluetooth 5.0 IPX7 40h 5000mAh black

Rugged IPX7 speaker for outdoor use

The HEYSONG REVERB BT138P is a portable Bluetooth speaker built to withstand immersion in water up to one metre for thirty minutes. Its sealed design resists rain, dust, sand and mud, making it suitable for beach, pool, shower, kayaking and camping trips. The compact black chassis weighs .95 Ibs and measures 6.69 by 2.75 by 2.56 inches, and an included lanyard allows easy hanging from backpacks or bicycles. It targets users who need durable audio in wet or dirty environments.

Bluetooth 5.0 range and codec limits

Bluetooth 5.0 with the A2DP profile provides a stable wireless link for stereo streaming from phones, laptops and MP3 players. The standard caps practical range at roughly ten metres in open air, and obstacles such as walls or bodies of water will reduce that distance. Audio quality is limited to the SBC codec mandated by A2DP; higher-bitrate codecs are not supported. A 3.5 mm audio cable is supplied for wired playback when wireless is unavailable or to conserve battery life.

Simple pairing with a few common pitfalls

Power on the speaker and it enters pairing mode automatically; select "HEYSONG REVERB" on the source device to connect. The unit remembers the last paired device for faster reconnection. A micro-USB charging cable is included but no wall adapter, so charging speed depends on the USB port or charger used. The IPX7 port cover must be sealed tightly after every cable insertion or water protection is lost. LED beat-sync lights draw extra current and will shorten the quoted 40-hour playback time at typical volume levels.
