Pink shower speaker with clip

The SOWO portable speaker weighs 6.5 ounces and measures 1.0 in x 4.0 in x 5.0 in, making it small enough for a pocket or shower caddy. A built-in carabiner clip secures it to tiles, bags or tent poles. Bluetooth 5.3 connects to phones, tablets and laptops for wireless playback. The 1500 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of music per charge.

Upgrade from phone speakers

Replaces a handset's tiny drivers with a 5 watt 2.0 configuration that claims 32 percent more volume at equal quality. Bass Boost processing adds low-frequency weight that a phone cannot produce. The jump is worth it when you need audible sound over running water, kitchen clatter or outdoor wind without carrying a larger box.

Limits of Bluetooth 5.3 and 5 W

Range and stability depend on the source device and obstacles such as walls or water. Stereo pairing requires a second identical speaker, which is not included. The 72 decibel signal-to-noise ratio and 20 KHz bandwidth set a ceiling on detail, so critical listening or large rooms will reveal compression and limited dynamics.

Questions about this item

What size shower rod or handle will the built-in clip and included buckle fit around?

The speaker measures 1.0 in x 4.0 in x 5.0 in and weighs 6.5 oz; the integrated clip and supplied mountaineering buckle are designed for standard shower curtain rods, towel bars or backpack straps of similar diameter.

How do I pair two of these speakers for stereo sound, and what step is often missed?

Turn on both units, double-press the power button on one speaker to enter TWS pairing mode, wait for the tone confirming the link, then connect your phone via Bluetooth 5.3 to the primary speaker only.

When will the 1500 mAh battery need recharging, and how do I know it is time to plug in?

Expect up to 8 hours of playback at moderate volume; the speaker will emit a low-battery tone and the LED light ring will flash red when the charge drops below the usable threshold.
