Compact 65W USB-C Adapter

The HHamoyzs DZ65200325 delivers 20V at 3.25A through a USB-C connector, supplying 65W of power for compatible Dell laptops and Chromebooks. Its 2.4 by 3.96 by 1.3 in form factor makes it lighter and smaller than a standard brick, suited for travel or as a spare unit kept in a bag. The package includes the adapter and a detachable power cord.

Sustained Output Behaviour

Built-in protection circuits guard against short circuits during continuous operation, allowing the adapter to maintain its rated output without thermal throttling under normal office loads. The IEC test report confirms compliance with baseline safety standards for prolonged use. Corded electric input ensures a stable connection to mains power throughout the charging cycle.

Replacement Scope

This unit replaces original Dell part numbers such as LA65NM190, DA65NM190, LA65NM170 and DA65NM170 across Latitude, Inspiron, XPS and Chromebook lines. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original charger is lost, damaged or when a smaller footprint is preferred for mobile work. Buyers needing higher wattage for larger workstations or multiple simultaneous devices should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 65W USB-C charger produce during all-day use?

The adapter delivers 20V at 3.25A with short-circuit protection and an IEC test report, so it runs within normal thermal limits for a 65W GaN-class brick.

What must I already own to use this charger with my Dell?

You need a laptop that charges through USB-C and accepts 20V 3.25A input, plus a standard C7 figure-8 mains lead for the detachable AC cord.

Will the 65W USB-C adapter work alongside my older 45W Dell barrel-tip charger?

Yes — the unit includes the same 20V output voltage used by Dell 45W, 65W and 90W part numbers such as LA45NM170 and DA65NM190, so it can replace or supplement them.
