Lawn & garden tire for turf equipment

The Hi-Run SU19 is an all-season tire built for lawn mowers and garden tractors. Its smooth tread pattern and rounded shoulder design deliver responsive steering and secure cornering on grass. The 13X5.00-6 size fits a 6-inch rim and carries a 4-ply rating with load index 51. This tire is sold without a wheel.

Sustained traction on mixed turf surfaces

The completely smooth tread maintains consistent contact across varying ground conditions without digging into the surface. Rounded shoulders distribute pressure evenly during extended use, reducing the risk of rutting on soft terrain. At 40 psi maximum pressure the carcass supports repeated passes over the same track. Turf-friendly performance remains stable throughout the operating session.

Black sidewall construction with no rim included

The BSW sidewall resists scuffs from curbs and edging tools encountered during routine mowing. Four-ply bias construction withstands impacts from hidden debris without sidewall splits. Mounting requires a compatible 6-inch rim and standard valve hardware not supplied with the tire. Buyers who need a wheel-and-tire assembly or a treaded pattern for loose soil should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 13X5.00-6 tire generate when running all day on a garden tractor?

The tire has no published heat-generation figure; its smooth tread and 40 psi rating are designed for low-speed turf use where heat build-up is minimal.

What rim size must I already own for the 13X5.00-6 tire to fit?

A 6-inch diameter rim with the correct bead seat width for a 13X5.00-6 tyre is required; the rim is not included.

Will the 4-ply SU19 tire carry the same load as the 2-ply tyre currently on my mower?

The 4-ply construction gives a load index of 51, which is higher than typical 2-ply garden tyres, so it can carry more weight at the same 40 psi pressure.
