Hi-Run WD1289 Lawn Tire

The Hi-Run WD1289 is a 4-ply lawn and garden tyre built for riding mowers and similar turf equipment. Its rubber construction and SU05 tread pattern deliver traction on grass without aggressive lugs that tear delicate surfaces. The tyre carries a 1,500 lb weight capacity at 24 psi maximum pressure. It is DOT approved for NHS use, meaning it is not for highway service.

24x9.50-12 Size Fitment

This tyre fits a 12-inch rim with an outside diameter of 23.8 inches and a section width of 9.50 inches. The 4-ply rating supports the stated load at the specified pressure. Verify the rim diameter and clearance on your machine before ordering, as no other sizes are included.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous load the 4-ply carcass maintains shape at the rated 1,500 lb capacity when inflated to 24 psi. The 8.9-inch tread depth provides a deep rubber reserve for long wear on abrasive soil. The tyre weighs 22 lb and contains a chemical listed under California Proposition 65.

Questions about this item

What does the 23.8 in outside diameter mean when the tyre is mounted on a mower?

It gives the rolling height of the tyre so you can check deck clearance and gear ratio before fitting.

What does the NHS marking on the sidewall tell me about allowed use?

NHS means Not for Highway Service, so the tyre is legal only on private ground such as lawns, gardens or job sites.

What wheel width and bolt pattern does the 24x9.50-12 size require?

The tyre fits a 12 in diameter wheel with a 9.50 in section width; bolt pattern depends on the mower hub, not the tyre.
