The Hi Temp R51-24X24X1-PS is a 24-inch by 24-inch fiberglass welding protection pad weighing 32 ounces per square yard. A silicone coating on the red fiberglass adds chemical and water resistance, and the material meets CSA and UL 1709 standards for heavy-duty use.

Suited for flat-plate shielding

This pad works well when a simple, grommet-free sheet is needed to protect surfaces from weld spatter, slag and grinding sparks. It is not intended for applications that require mechanical fastening points, curved forming or integrated eyelets for hanging.
