Premium Mechanical Pencil

The HighTide Penco Prime Timber Pencil v2.0 is a lightweight mechanical pencil crafted from high-quality California incense cedar. Its hexagonal barrel prevents rolling on flat surfaces while the combination of soft wood and rugged metallic fittings provides a satisfying hand feel. It suits designers, artists, and note-takers who value a premium wooden writing instrument.

2mm Lead Format Constraints

The pencil accepts only 2mm diameter leads, limiting line-width options compared to finer mechanical standards. The included B-grade graphite is manufactured in Japan and formulated for soft, expressive marks suited to sketching and rapid idea capture. Harder or softer grades must be sourced separately to match specific drawing or writing preferences.

Replaceable Lead & Sharpener Included

Each pencil ships with one piece of 2mm B-grade lead and a dedicated sharpener so the point can be maintained without extra tools. The lead is fully replaceable, extending the pencil's service life indefinitely. Buyers who need an integrated eraser or a built-in lead advance mechanism should consider other designs.
