This HighZer0 Electronics AC3168 module is a discontinued WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 adapter intended only as a direct replacement for laptops or desktops already using the 3168NGW part. It supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with a maximum link rate of 433 Mbps on 802.11ac. The card targets owners of older Intel or AMD platforms running Windows 10 or 11 64-bit or Linux who need an exact spare.

Requires M.2 Key A or E slot with CNVi/o support

The single specification that decides fitment is the M.2 PCIe Key A+E interface combined with CNVi/o signalling; the card will not work in Key M, Key B or standard PCIe slots. It is listed as compatible with earlier Intel models 8260, 8265, 7265, 3165 and 3168, but the installer must verify the platform uses CNVi/o before purchase. No other interface or chipset is supported.

Antennas and screws must be sourced separately

The adapter plugs into an M.2 Key A or E slot and relies on the host system's existing antenna cables and mounting hardware, neither of which are included in the package.
