Professional 16-inch scissor tongs

These 16-inch scissor tongs are made from 18/8 (304) austenitic stainless steel with a black silicone-lined handle. The non-magnetic steel offers formability and durability for kitchen grilling, outdoor barbecue, camping and serving. One piece is included in the package.

Heat resistance and reach

The steel body and rivet are heat safe up to 600°C (1112°F), providing headroom for high-temperature grilling and searing. The 16-inch length keeps hands away from flare-ups while the imprinted gripper surface reduces food slippage during turning and serving.

Dishwasher-safe convenience limit

The tongs are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup after cooking. The polished stainless steel resists corrosion, but the silicone and plastic handle components set the practical temperature ceiling for cleaning cycles rather than the steel itself.

Questions about this item

Will the 16-inch length and 5.0 mm wire diameter work inside my existing 12-inch grill basket without bending?

The 16-inch scissor tongs are 40.69 cm long with a 5.0 mm wire diameter, so they extend well beyond a 12-inch basket and the stainless steel resists bending at grill temperatures.

How can I verify the 18/8 stainless steel heads are heat-safe to 600 °C after the first wash?

The tongs are dishwasher safe; after washing, the polished 18/8 steel shows no discoloration and the rivet remains tight, confirming the 1112 °F / 600 °C rating.

Does the package include the silicone-lined handles already fitted, or must I buy the grips separately?

The single 16-inch tong arrives fully assembled with the black silicone-and-plastic handles installed; nothing extra is required.
