Ultra-Short Throw Laser Projector

The Hisense 120L5F is a complete home-theatre console that combines a 4K ultra-short throw laser projector with a 120-inch ambient light rejection screen and an integrated 30W soundbar. It runs Android TV for direct access to streaming apps without external devices. Buyers who need a portable or ceiling-mounted unit for small meeting rooms should look elsewhere.

4K Native Resolution

The projector delivers a native 3840 x 2160 image at 60 Hz, so every pixel of 4K content is reproduced without scaling. A 1 000 000:1 contrast ratio and brightness between 2500 and 2999 lumens keep dark scenes deep and bright highlights visible. Builders who require higher refresh rates for competitive gaming or support for 8K sources will not find them here.

120-Inch ALR Screen and 30W Soundbar

The bundled 120-inch ambient light rejection screen provides a fixed, large-format canvas that resists washout in lit rooms, while the built-in 30W soundbar handles dialogue and effects without a separate audio system. The 350-watt power draw covers projector, screen electronics and audio in one plug. Viewers wanting screen sizes beyond 120 inches or a detachable speaker layout for multi-channel surround will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

What does the 2500-2999 lumen rating mean for everyday viewing on the 120-inch ALR screen?

The 2500-2999 lumen output combined with the 120-inch ambient light rejection screen delivers a bright 4K picture in rooms with some ambient light, unlike traditional projectors that require darkness.

How do the three HDMI ports and RJ45 Ethernet connection limit what I can plug in at once?

Three HDMI ports handle 4K 60 Hz sources such as consoles or streamers, while the RJ45 port provides a wired network link for Android TV apps and firmware updates.

How much space does the 20.7 lb console need from the wall to fill the 120-inch screen?

The ultra-short throw design places the console just inches from the wall, projecting a 120-inch image without the long throw distance of standard projectors.
