Ready-to-use business projector

The Hitachi CP-BX301WN is a new 3LCD business projector rated at 3200 ANSI lumens with a native 1024 x 768 resolution and HD video support up to 1080p. Its short-throw lens lets you place the unit close to the screen while still filling a large image, which suits meeting rooms where space is limited. At 8.4 lbs it can be moved between rooms or mounted permanently.

Small-to-medium meeting rooms and classrooms

The short-throw design and 3200-lumen output make it a practical choice for presenters who need a bright image in rooms with some ambient light and limited throw distance. Buyers who need native 1080p or 4K resolution, or who require lens shift and interchangeable lenses for large auditoriums, should look at other models.

1024 x 768 native resolution

This is the fixed pixel count of the 3LCD panels; all content is scaled to this grid. If your source material or software demands a higher native pixel count for fine detail or small text, this projector will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What ceiling-mount pattern matches the 8.4 lb chassis?

The unit weighs 8.4 lbs, so select a mount rated for at least that load and verify the projector's own screw-hole spacing before drilling.

Which cable carries the 1080p signal to the HDMI port without handshake issues?

Use a certified High-Speed HDMI cable, seat it firmly until the connector clicks, then power on the projector before the source — the reverse order often causes a blank screen.

How often should the air filter be cleaned to protect the 3200 lumen output?

Vacuum the filter every 100 hours of use; a clogged filter raises internal temperature and dims the 3200 lumen image over time.
