throw business projector

The Hitachi CP-D31N is a new short-throw business projector built for conference rooms and classrooms. Its 3LCD engine delivers 3000 lumens of brightness with a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The unit weighs 8.3 lbs and has been professionally tested for ideal working order.

Native XGA resolution

The panel resolves 1024 x 768 pixels natively while accepting 1080p and 1080i video signals. This fixed resolution determines image sharpness and aspect ratio for every connected source. Buyers who need Full HD or 4K native pixel counts should look elsewhere.

Ready for ceiling or table mounting

Short-throw optics allow a large image from a short distance, freeing presenter space and reducing shadow interference. The projector integrates into AV systems that supply 1080p or 1080i content over standard video inputs. No network or wireless features are included.

Questions about this item

How bright will the 3000 lumens look in a lit conference room?

The 3000 ANSI lumen rating means the image stays clear with lights on and blinds open during daytime meetings.

Does the 1080p video mode mean the projector shows full HD natively?

Native resolution is 1024 x 768; 1080p signals are accepted and scaled to that grid.

Will the 8.3 lb weight need a reinforced ceiling mount?

At 8.3 lbs it fits standard ceiling brackets and short-throw wall arms rated for typical business projectors.
