Ready-to-install projector lamp module

The Hitachi CP-AW3003 lamp arrives as a fully assembled 250W Osram UHP bulb inside its housing, so no separate bulb handling is required. It is built for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a direct replacement without extra tools or alignment steps.

Simple swap with one common pitfall

Installation consists of removing the old module and sliding the new one into place, a process that typically takes a few minutes. The main issue installers encounter is forgetting to reset the projector's lamp-hour counter after fitting the module, which leaves the replacement timer inaccurate.

3,000 to 5,000 hours of rated life

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3,000 hours, while economy mode extends the rating to 5,000 hours. Heavy daily use in normal mode will reach the limit sooner, and brightness gradually declines as the rated hours are approached.
