Replacement Lamp for CP-DX250

The Hitachi CP-DX250 DT01461 is a new 196W projector lamp module supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It is intended for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a direct, ready-to-fit replacement without separate component handling.

Rated Output and Economy Runtime

The lamp delivers 196W of power and is rated for 4,500 hours in normal mode or 6,000 hours when the projector runs in economy mode. These figures represent the manufacturer’s stated lifespan under sustained operation rather than a brief peak output.

Pre-Assembled Module Installation

Because the bulb comes pre-mounted in its housing, installation consists of removing the old module and seating the new one, a process that typically requires only basic access to the projector’s lamp door. The main risk is forgetting to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter after fitting, which can cause premature replacement warnings.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 196W UHP bulb draw and what heat should I expect during extended use?

The lamp operates at 196 watts; the projector's internal cooling system manages the heat output during continuous operation.

Does the DT01461 module include the housing so I can install it without extra parts?

Yes, the CP-DX250 lamp ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for direct installation in compatible Hitachi projectors.

Will this replacement lamp work in my older Hitachi projector that originally used the same CP-DX250 module?

The DT01461 is built to the original CP-DX250 specification, so it fits and functions in projectors designed for that lamp module.
