Hitachi CP-HSX8500 Replacement Lamp

The Hitachi CP-HSX8500 is a new 310W replacement projector lamp module designed for Hitachi projectors using part DT00601. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for immediate installation without additional assembly. This lamp suits users needing a direct OEM-standard replacement for a depleted original module.

310W UHB Lamp with 2000-Hour Rating

The lamp uses a Ushio UHB 310W bulb rated for 2,000 hours of typical operation. This wattage and life specification determine whether the module matches the projector's original optical and electrical requirements. Buyers who need a different wattage or a longer rated lifespan must verify their projector's exact specifications before ordering.

Simple Module Swap with Version Variants

Installation consists of removing the old lamp module and inserting the new assembly, a process that typically requires only basic access to the projector's lamp door. The supplier notes that up to four versions exist, including OEM and compatible variants; confirming the exact version needed avoids fitment or ignition issues.

Questions about this item

How long will the 310W lamp actually last in a Hitachi CP-HSX8500 projector?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation. Actual runtime varies with projector settings, ambient temperature and how often the unit is power-cycled.

Does the DT00601 module use the original Ushio UHB bulb or an alternative OEM source?

Depending on stock, the module ships with either the original Ushio UHB bulb, the same OEM lamp sold by Hitachi, or an equivalent OEM bulb from another qualified manufacturer.

What physical installation does the pre-assembled housing require?

The bulb and housing arrive fully assembled as a single module, so installation is a direct swap into the projector's lamp compartment without separate bulb handling.
