Ready-to-install projector lamp

The Hitachi CP-HX1098 module ships as a complete 150W bulb inside its housing, so no separate assembly is required. It matches the original DT00461 specification and is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance and run-time.

Rated life and power draw

The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of operation at 150W. Actual runtime will vary with projector usage patterns, eco-mode settings and ambient temperature, so plan replacements around the hour counter rather than a fixed calendar date.

Verify the exact projector model

Confirm your Hitachi projector lists CP-HX1098 or DT00461 as the approved lamp code before ordering. Different sub-models sometimes share similar names but require distinct housings or ignition voltages, and installing the wrong module can prevent startup or damage the ballast.

Questions about this item

Which CP-HX1098 version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Four versions are offered: three OEM variants from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, plus a third-party compatible built with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for daily use?

At typical brightness the lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation; actual life varies with power cycles, ventilation and eco-mode settings, so a projector used four hours a day would reach the rating in roughly one and a half years.

Does the 150-watt UHB bulb require a specific projector interface?

The module is a direct replacement for Hitachi model DT00461 and fits the original lamp housing and electrical connector without adapters or firmware changes.
