Direct replacement lamp for Hitachi CP-HX6500

This 310W UHB projector lamp module arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing, ready for immediate installation in the CP-HX6500 projector. It restores original brightness and colour performance with a rated life of 2,000 hours. The unit corresponds to Hitachi part number DT00601.

Check your projector model

Verify that the device is a Hitachi CP-HX6500; the lamp is not compatible with other projector series. Confirm the existing lamp has reached or is approaching its 2,000-hour rated lifespan to avoid premature replacement. Ensure the projector is powered off and cooled down before beginning the swap.

Fits the CP-HX6500 housing without additional parts

The module slots directly into the projector’s lamp compartment, requiring no separate bulb handling or housing reuse. Installation frees the user from aligning a bare bulb and reduces downtime to a single step. The 310W UHB lamp draws the same power as the original, so no electrical modifications are needed.

Questions about this item

Does the CP-HX6500 lamp arrive as a complete module with housing, or must the housing be purchased separately?

The lamp is a fully assembled module that includes a new Ushio UHB 310W bulb inside its housing, so no separate housing is required.

Which of the four available versions — three OEM options and one compatible — should I select for my projector?

All versions fit the CP-HX6500 and meet ISO 9001 quality checks; choose the original OEM for exact factory specification, the Hitachi-sold OEM for brand-matched assurance, the alternative OEM for equivalent performance from a different bulb maker, or the compatible version for a lower-cost option built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 2000-hour rating mean for everyday use of the projector?

At typical daily use of a few hours, the 2000-hour lamp life translates to several months before a replacement is needed; actual runtime varies with brightness mode and operating conditions.
