Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the CP-HX995 lamp module and is anything else needed for installation?

The module includes a new 165W UHB bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no separate bulb or tools are required for fitting.

How do I decide between the OEM and compatible versions of the DT00701 lamp?

Choose an OEM version when you want the original bulb maker or Hitachi-sourced lamp; choose the compatible version for a lower-cost module built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for everyday projector use?

It indicates the lamp should reach around 2,000 hours of typical operation before brightness drops to half its initial level.
