Replacement projector lamp with a 150 W Philips UHB bulb and housing, rated for 2 000 hours
The Hitachi CP-S225WAT is a new 150W replacement projector lamp module supplied with a Philips UHB bulb already fitted in its housing. It is designed for users who need a direct-fit lamp for compatible Hitachi projectors and want a ready-to-install unit without separate bulb handling.
The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of operation at its specified 150W power draw. Brightness will gradually decrease as the lamp approaches this limit, and the projector will require a new module once the rated life is reached. The 150W rating also defines the thermal load the projector's cooling system must handle.
The critical specification is the manufacturer part number DT00461, which confirms compatibility with the intended Hitachi projector models. Buyers who need a different part number or a lamp with a higher or lower wattage rating should select an alternative module.

Three are OEM modules — one from the original bulb maker, one sold by Hitachi, and one from a different OEM bulb maker — plus a lower-cost compatible made with genuine OEM parts. All are built to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.
It is the expected operating life of the 150W UHB bulb under normal use before brightness drops to roughly half its initial output. Actual hours vary with power cycles, ventilation and whether eco mode is used.
The lamp plugs directly into the projector's proprietary lamp connector; the 150W power draw and 2,000-hour design life are the practical limits set by the module itself.
