Ready-to-install lamp module

The Hitachi CP-S240 lamp arrives as a complete 180 W bulb-and-housing assembly matched to projector model DT00731. No separate bulb handling or alignment is required, so maintenance downtime stays minimal. It is built for users who need a direct OEM-spec replacement without sourcing components individually.

Fits Hitachi projectors using the DT00731 module

Installation only needs access to the projector’s lamp door and a basic screwdriver; the housing slides into the existing optical path and locks with the original latch. The module draws the same 180 W as the factory lamp, leaving the projector’s power supply and cooling unchanged. It frees the operator from disassembling the light engine or adjusting focus after swap.

Replaces an expired 180 W UHB lamp rated for 2,000

When the original lamp reaches its rated life or shows dimming and colour shift, this module restores factory brightness and colour balance. The upgrade is worthwhile when the projector is otherwise functional and a full replacement would exceed the cost of the lamp alone. It is not suited for users seeking higher lumen output, a different wattage, or compatibility with non-Hitachi models.

Questions about this item

How many hours does the 180W lamp last before it dims?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of use before brightness drops to half its initial output.

Does the housing run hot or loud during long sessions?

The module uses the same 180W UHB bulb the projector was designed for, so heat and fan noise stay at the level the manufacturer specified.

Which Hitachi projectors accept the DT00731 module?

It fits the CP-S240 and CPS240-X250LAMP models; the housing is pre-assembled for direct installation in those units.
