A 150 W CP-S318W lamp module with Philips UHB bulb and housing, rated for 2,000 hours
This 150W projector lamp module is built for owners of Hitachi CP-S318W units who need a direct replacement. The assembly arrives with the Philips UHB bulb already seated in its housing, so installation is a simple swap without separate handling of the bare lamp. It suits anyone restoring original brightness after the factory lamp reaches end of life.
The lamp draws 150W during operation, matching the projector's original power specification. Rated life is 2,000 hours under normal use, after which output will gradually decline. Heat and fan noise remain consistent with the projector's stock behaviour because the module replicates the OEM thermal footprint. No extra cooling or power-supply changes are required.
Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, connections and run-time before shipping. The pre-assembled housing means no alignment of the bulb is needed — just remove the old module and insert the new one. Compatibility is limited to the CP-S318W (model DT00461); it will not fit other Hitachi or third-party projectors.

The module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing; power off the projector, let it cool completely, remove the old lamp, insert the new module until it seats firmly, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the step most users forget.
The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of use; after that the bulb reaches end of life and the entire module must be replaced — no separate filter or bulb-only change is required.
The 2000-hour rated lamp life is the first hard limit; brightness will gradually decline as that point is approached, and the projector will eventually require a new lamp module.
