Replacement Lamp Module

The Hitachi CP-TW2503 lamp module combines a 250W Osram UHP bulb with a pre-assembled housing for direct installation in compatible Hitachi projectors. It arrives new and ready to fit without separate bulb handling.

Upgrade From Dim Or Expired Lamps

Swapping a faded or failed original lamp restores rated brightness and colour accuracy. The change is worth it when the existing module has reached its rated hours or shows visible dimming and colour shift.

Integration Into A Projector Build

The module matches the projector’s lamp cage and connector layout so no adapter or wiring changes are required. Economy mode extends the replacement interval, freeing maintenance time for other tasks.

Questions about this item

Does the CP-TW2503 lamp module arrive fully assembled with housing so it fits the projector without extra parts?

Yes, the lamp module includes the Osram UHP 250W bulb pre-mounted in its housing, matching the DT01411 form factor for direct installation.

What is the correct procedure to install the DT01411 module, and which step do users often skip?

Power off and unplug the projector, allow cooling, remove the lamp cover, release the securing screws, slide the old module out, insert the new one until it seats firmly, re-tighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu — the counter reset is the step most often missed.

How many hours can I expect from the Osram UHP 250W bulb before replacement, and does the mode affect it?

The lamp is rated for 3,000 hours in normal mode and up to 5,000 hours in economy mode; actual life varies with usage patterns and ventilation.
